FB takes that money and makes it an addicting product.

Russia used FB to affect elections.

FB itself allows for hunting down of rebels [I’ve heard] in other parts of the world and other bad things because they cannot control what they created.

This is just the beginning. If a government other than the ones which already strike deals with the big tech companies [like the US government, which does too I’m sure] surveils its population illegally and uses algos to control our thinking and hunts down dissident thinkers by algo and such… well, we’re almost there.
